The service

SignalReed publishes journalism, data, newsletters, and community features about African tech, operated by SignalReed Media, Lagos ("we"). By using the site you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, do not use the site.

Accounts

Accounts are personal. Keep control of your email inbox, since it is your key to sign in. You are responsible for activity under your account, and we may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attack other readers, or attempt to circumvent access controls.

Subscriptions and payments

Paid tiers, when live, renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. Prices may change with notice ahead of your next renewal. Statutory refund rights are unaffected.

Your content

Comments and submissions stay yours. By posting, you give us a licence to display them on the service. We moderate to keep the conversation worth reading and may remove content that is unlawful, spam, or abusive. Job and event submissions must be genuine and accurately described.

Our content

Articles, data, and design are protected by copyright and database rights. You may share links and brief quotes with attribution. Wholesale reproduction, scraping for republication, or training commercial systems on our corpus requires a licence; write to team@signalreed.tech.

Liability

Our reporting is careful, but it is journalism, not professional advice. Investment, legal, and business decisions remain yours. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the service; nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes belong to the courts of Lagos State, subject to any mandatory consumer protections where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product grows. Material changes are announced on the site or by email before they take effect.
